Education and Training
CERC's Morningside Institute serves to build environmental leadership through education and training. CERC has reached over 10,000 students, conservation scientists, practitioners, policy makers, K-12 teachers, and concerned citizens since its inception.
Summer Ecosystem Experience for Undergraduates (SEE-U)
SEE-U offers summer field ecosystem studies courses in Brazil, the Dominican Republic, and Black Rock Forest, New York, for undergraduate students.
Overbrook Conservation Fellows Program
CERC is collaborating with the Overbrook Foundation to recognize the accomplishments of promising Latin American conservationists through a fellowship program for continued study, training, and/or research in the conservation field.
Teacher Training Program
CERCs Teacher Training Program provides K-12 public and private school teachers of all disciplines with a background in ecology, conservation, and curriculum design. CERC believes that the multiplier effect of teaching teachers—who will then teach their students—will significantly increase ecological literacy.
Evening Certificate Program in Conservation Biology
The Certificate Program in Conservation Biology is an evening program for adult professionals. If you have an interest in conservation—either civically or professionally, this program offers a unique opportunity to study with experts in the CERC consortium.
